Without the dedication and generosity of open-source maintainers, many of the projects we’ve worked on simply wouldn’t be possible.
At MD5 Records, we’re proud to give back to the community that has given us so much. With our unique record label, we aim to provide more than just a custom celebration of your software achievements—we want to support the open-source projects that made those achievements possible.
For each record commemorating an open-source project, we donate $25 back to the maintainers of that project. It's just our way of saying thanks to the people who keep open source alive.
To ensure transparency and efficiency, payments are made through GitHub’s Sponsor Program If your favorite open-source project is set up to receive sponsorships, we’ll make sure they get the support they deserve. If not, encourage them to enroll so we can help them keep building.
